You can explore diaspora.ie with javascript disabled (some features will not be available), but it needs to be enabled during sign up.
(Part of joining may include clicking on a country map so that we can calculate coordinates, and javascript is required to do this)
If you'd like to proceed you can temporarily turn on javascript, and turn it off again once you've joined.
